All products are hand crafted with attention to the smallest detail. The design is quite unique with soft shapes broken by sharp lines. All products are designed and meant for daily use.
Ditte Fischer’s design is extremely popular and the Ditte Fischer products are on display and for sale at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark

One of the most interesting Danish ceramic artists have for a long time been well-known for her great design and craftsmanship. Ditte Fischer started her career in ceramics rather late, and perhaps therefore her design route was sharp enough to create an instant hit with bloggers, journalists and consumers. Her distinct boat shape put her on the map of skilled Scandinavian craftsmen. Today she is also the proud supplier to the International accredited Danish restaurant Noma.Being part of the great traditions of Scandinavian Design and Scandinavian Living made us realize how important it is to present makers to the people around the world who can appreciate some of the more distinguish designers and products available – hence Northernmakers.com. Today it’s not just Scandinavian makers we celebrate but makers and designers from all in the Nordic region.We are happy to present such a great craftsman to Northernmakers.
