Skogen Design

“Skogen” means the Forest in Norwegian. Nordic design has its origin in the nature today as in the 20th century. Nordic designers from the last century like Ivar Dysthe, Arne Halvorsen, Grete Prytz Kittelsen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton and Alvar Aalto used materials, shapes and colors from the nature in order to bring tranquility of the forest into the Nordic homes.

The Nordic design from the last half of the 20th century has been described as an ideal of equality, with “more beautiful everyday products” to everybody. Our motto is therefore “Vintage to the people!”

Skogen Design was founded by Brian Noguera and Kim Gabrielli with a common belief in the reuse of interior, design and art. Skogen Design is based in Oslo, but ships worldwide.
